New Lebanon committee shifts to quarterly community conversations

NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon marketing committee pivots to quarterly community conversations. The Marketing, Outreach and Communications Committee, meeting for the fourth time on June 15, canceled its June 25 planned community forum in favor of quarterly discussions on the fourth Thursday of February, May, August, and November. Co chair Jim Dawson will test an OWL microphone system to improve audio quality after feedback from the first community conversation identified microphone and background noise challenges.
The committee proposed $500 in its 2027 budget for youth outreach and plans to focus on updating welcome packets and the business directory before pursuing broader economic development promotion in 2028.
