NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board requests State audit in 3-2 vote. Councilmembers Scout Metzler, Joanne Amlaw, and Craig Skerkis voted for a comprehensive State Comptroller audit covering 2014 to present, while Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling and Councilmember Steve Powers opposed. Houghtling argued the audit would burden Town Clerk Marsha Robertson and favored asking questions to the Comptroller first.
The board unanimously approved budget amendment number 14 and authorized the Supervisor to sign 2026 contracts with Columbia-Greene Humane Society for dog boarding and Columbia County MIS for shared services.
