NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon town board introduces trash-container regulation with January public hearing scheduled. The board unanimously introduced Introductory Local Law No. 6 of 2025 regulating roadside garbage containers, with a public hearing at 5:55 p.m. on January 13, 2026. The board also unanimously approved the 2026 Chatham Rescue Squad contract and Budget Amendment No. 13, with bills totaling $631,870.41 approved for payment.
The Supervisor's report for November was approved 4-1, with Councilmember Craig Skerkis dissenting over concerns about $625,000 in landfill monitoring funds and approximately $1 million in payments awaiting state reimbursement. The board approved 2026 Mobile Home Park License Renewals for six parks.
