Town Board Extends Supervisor Term to Four Years

NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approves $131,696 in capital purchases and extended Supervisor term. An emergency generator and highway truck were approved unanimously at $11,499 and $120,197 respectively. The Board voted 4-1 to extend the Supervisor term from two years to four years, with Councilmember Jesse Newton dissenting; the measure goes to voters in November 2019 with an effective date of January 1, 2022.
The Board also adopted multiple town policies unanimously, appointed Tegan Cook to the Planning Board, and changed Town Hall bathroom signage to label both facilities as "restroom for all."
