NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approves new sidewalk grant application with state cost-sharing potential. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling's motion to authorize Creighton Manning to file a Transportation Alternatives Program application passed 4-1, with Councilmember Joanne Amlaw dissenting. The new project would extend the existing sidewalk to the park with concrete surfacing, potentially reducing the town's share from $500,000 through state assistance.
The town closed a $90,000 Bond Anticipation Note for continued engineering while awaiting grant notification by September 2026.
