Town Board Approves New Sidewalk TAP Grant Application

NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board votes 4-1 to authorize new sidewalk grant application. Councilmember Joanne Amlaw dissented as the board approved Creighton Manning's application for a Transportation Alternatives Program grant that would convert the sidewalk to concrete and extend it to the park. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling noted the state may cover part of the town's $500,000 share.
The application carries no cost to the town and no obligation to accept an award if received; it is due March 12, 2026.
