NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approved a new contractor for its Community Center painting project. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling authorized signing a contract with Classy Cleaners & Painting, LLC for $4,265.00 to replace the previously unresponsive Finley Remodeling. The new contractor's scope includes painting both the main building and trim while supplying materials, consolidating work that previous bids had divided between contractor and volunteer labor.

The project must be completed by December 31, 2026 to comply with American Rescue Plan Act deadlines. The motion passed four-one, with Councilmember Joanne Amlaw voting against. The board also voted unanimously to schedule an October 6 special meeting to negotiate the 2027 contract with the Lebanon Valley Protective Agency.
