NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approves modified LVPA contract for public hearing. Supervisor Colleen Teal and the board voted unanimously to post the 2019 LVPA contract draft with one modification: removal of a clause from Page 3, Section 1. The board retained contested language in Page 4, Section 2 requiring the Town Board to document any agreement regarding contingency-fund replenishment, despite objections from LVPA Representative Ed Godfroy.
Separately, the board deferred final payment to contractor L. Browe for a newly completed basketball court, citing unresolved concerns about surface grade and water pooling, and committed to a laser-level inspection before the December meeting.
