NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approves highway garage fire bills, manages insurance reimbursement. The board voted unanimously to approve General Bills Nos. 168 through 176, totaling $21,266.50, as listed on Abstract No. 3C dated March 24, 2026. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling reported that insurance payment checks for damaged highway equipment had been received and deposited, and that the town will establish a separate equipment account.

The Supervisor noted the town is nearly depleted of $125,000 in available funds and said the Highway Superintendent has requested permission to borrow from the equipment insurance proceeds until the insurance company reimburses the town for other claims. Houghtling will present a budget amendment at the board's next meeting.
