NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board approves $917,400 in highway fire insurance proceeds. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling presented Budget Amendment #6 of 2026, accounting for insurance recovery from fire damage to three vehicles and a loader at the highway garage. The board voted unanimously to allocate $856,000 to a special Highway Fund budget line for equipment replacement and $50,000 to cover general fund expenses, while returning $11,400 previously borrowed to pay fire bills.
The board also approved payment of bills totaling $43,617.47.
