NY NEW LEBANON — The New Lebanon Town Board approves $1,865 alarm upgrade following break-in. Supervisor Colleen Teal and board members voted unanimously October 10 to accept a Doyle Security quote for $1,865.71 to upgrade the alarm system with three additional panic buttons and 14 door and window sensors following a Town Hall break-in. The board also unanimously authorized the New Lebanon Justice Court to apply for a Justice Court Assistance Program grant for court security equipment.

Board members declined to pursue surveillance cameras, determining the alarm system provided sufficient protection. The board appointed Abigail Allard to the Recreation Commission and authorized going out to bid for a new copier.
