NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board adopts mandatory employee training policy with year-end deadline. Unanimously approved, the Town Training Policy requires all 85 town employees and committee members to complete mandatory annual training by December 31 or face removal from position, with responsibility delegated to department heads after June 1. The Board also amended Personnel Policies to exempt court staff from parking requirements on Thursdays for court and added highway staff to positions with blanket mileage-reimbursement approval.

Four town officers were appointed: SYP Camp Director Jacqueline Howe, SYP Health Director Eileen Raab, Recreation Commission Member Ayannah Meyson, and Board of Assessment Review Clerk Courtney Potter at $18 per hour. The Board voted 4-1 to award a $439,050 playground contract to Grasshopper Gardens, with Councilmember Joanne Amlaw voting against.
