NY NEW LEBANON — Shaker Preservation Committee moves demolition standards forward as separate town law. The New Lebanon committee voted five to one with one abstention to release new demolition standards outside the broader Shaker Preservation Proposal, with Chair Winfried Fuchshofen calling the standards ready to advance immediately. The committee also approved an art gallery use and one event venue per zoning zone, while deciding against year-round camping.
Members agreed to review increased minimum lot sizes, from one-quarter acre to one-half acre, before finalizing changes.
