NY NEW LEBANON — Playground Design Committee unanimously schedules August 15 ribbon cutting. The committee, led by Town Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling, approved the playground dedication plaque with one edit adding "2026" centered at the bottom and unanimously approved a press release announcing the ceremony with Houghtling's contact information. The committee will organize a children's playdate on the playground with photographer Steve Powers documenting the event for press materials, and light refreshments and freeze pops will be served at the ceremony.
The committee reconvenes August 10 at 6:30 p.m. to finalize preparations.
