NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon development committee met without a quorum but heard sewer district plans. Seven members attended the June 3 meeting, below the threshold for official votes, prompting Chair Josh Young to acknowledge chronic attendance problems and seek resignation letters from absent members. The Wastewater subcommittee, led by Young, reported progress on a sewer feasibility study; engineer Lamont agreed to evaluate the high school area at no additional cost, with water testing begun by Peg Munves and Donald Lamonaca.
The group plans to apply for an Environmental Studies Grant and an Empire State Development Grant, with results to be presented to the Town Board on June 13.
