NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon CAC approves native plant specialist, advances water protection work. The Community Advisory Committee unanimously approved native plant specialist Sarah Latifa for membership as the committee continued work on the town's drinking water source protection plan. State Department of Health officials Alyssa Bement and Cody Hitt presented on the DWSP2, the county's only approved drinking water protection plan, noting New Lebanon has $5,000 remaining for testing with no new funding source identified.
