NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon swears in elected officials and restores supervisor salary. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling, along with Councilmembers Joanne Amlaw, Chris Patterson, and Susan Tipograph, were sworn in at the annual organizational meeting. The board voted 4 to 1 to restore $15,000 to the supervisor's $53,856 annual salary after Councilmember Tipograph raised concerns about the proposed allocation to HR and forensic accounting services, citing unclear costs and insufficient planning.
Only Councilmember Amlaw opposed the restoration. The board also approved eight resolutions addressing appointments, salaries, depositories, and summer youth program fees.
