NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Board weighs two paths forward on Sidewalk Project. Supervisor Colleen Teal presented Option 1, a scaled-down plan from the property line between Valley Plaza and EZ Mart to Tilden Road requiring an estimated $20,000 to complete design and right-of-way acquisition with 80 percent federal funding available, opening a 20-year build window; versus Option 2, requiring the town to repay $80,405 in federal and $5,000 in state reimbursements. Public speakers split between supporting the reduced plan and discontinuing the project entirely.
In separate action, the Board unanimously approved Voucher 272 in the amount of $67,695 for tennis courts completion.
