NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board appoints three staff members and restarts pavilion bid. Supervisor Colleen Teal and Councilmembers Kevin Smith Sr., Jesse Newton, and Mark Baumli unanimously appointed Michelle Bienes and Elizabeth Keefner to the building department at $13 per hour for 10 hours weekly each. In a 3-0 vote with Teal recused, the board appointed Samantha Long as Court Clerk at $14.50 per hour for 20 hours weekly, subject to probation.
After all contractors declined to bid due to a $3 million insurance requirement, the board authorized a rebid with revised insurance terms from Engineer McCreary, with bids due May 10.
