NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board completes annual organizational meeting with officer appointments for 2016. Supervisor Teal and three councilmembers approved appointments of Brian Fitzgerald, CPA, as Town Accountant; Wes Powell as Planning Board member; Ray Herrmann as Planning Board Chairman; and Tony Murad as Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman, while Councilmember Dan Evans voted Nay on both the officer appointments and salary resolutions. The board unanimously approved four additional resolutions designating The Eastwick Press and The Columbia Paper as official newspapers, designating First Niagara and Bank of Greene County as depositories, and authorizing fiscal procedures, while tabling Ethics Board appointments pending interviews.
