NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Conservation Advisory Council discusses property preservation and conservation planning at monthly meeting. Council members Cynthia Creech, David Farren, Jack Lancto, Peg Munves, and Craig Westcott approved prior minutes and discussed preserving the Shedman property at Routes 20 and 22 as a public park while the Shaker Swamp Conservancy reportedly declined the parcel. The council agreed to hold a Natural Resource Conservation Plan celebration on September 22 at David Farren's home, and a public hearing is scheduled for May 17 regarding the possible sale of a 3.4-acre parcel at 16 Lovers Lane to the Corkscrew Rail Trail.
