NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Conservation Council defers work on critical environmental areas, citing zoning priorities. The Conservation Advisory Council approved its January meeting minutes and discussed strong support for the town's Natural Resource Conservation Plan voiced by the Town Attorney and Town Engineer at recent Quad Board meetings. Council members Cynthia Creech, Jack Lancto, and Peg Munves attended both meetings; David Farren attended the first.
The council withdrew its offer to have Hands to Work students assist with a scenic resources inventory and agreed that a 3-year cycle for conservation plan updates appears feasible.
