NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Recreation Commission schedules two major summer events while grappling with budget constraints. The commission set Punk and Pantry for August 15, with ribbon cuttings at 10 a.m. for the new playground and 11 a.m. for the skatepark, and Field Day for September 19 at the pavilion from noon to 3 p.m. Commission members agreed the $1,500 annual budget is insufficient for most goals.
Danielle Patterson reported that pavilion floor repairs are two-thirds complete and caulking work remains before the pavilion can be used for skating.
