NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon's Conservation Advisory Council welcomed new members and set environmental priorities at its February 11 meeting. The council added three new members to two-year terms and unanimously approved prior minutes. Goals include updating the Scenic Resources Inventory, identifying Critical Environmental Areas, and advancing Comprehensive Plan revisions with consultant Nan Stolzenburg, targeting a May 10 Hudson Valley Greenway grant deadline.
Steve Powers volunteered for the inventory update and Paul Rix suggested involving Darrow School's Hands to Work program. The council determined it would not collectively advocate for political outcomes to preserve its advisory standing.
