NY NEW LEBANON — New Lebanon Town Board adopts revised fee schedule and awards landfill contract. Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling's five-member board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 29 of 2025, introducing telecommunications facility application fees ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, and unanimously accepted a $24,366 bid from Barton & Loguidice for post-closure monitoring of the Old Post Road landfill, rejecting a $38,260 competing proposal from GAI Engineering & Surveying. The board also unanimously appointed Danielle Patterson to the Recreation Commission, authorized $9,890 for new computers from the 2026 budget, recommended Councilmember Steve Powers to the Columbia County Climate Smart Community Task Force through December 31, 2027, and approved $12.27 per month for a highway employee's spouse vision insurance.
In a procedural development, Councilmember Scout Metzler requested postponement of his appointment term correction pending ethics guidance on potential voting conflicts.
